It loads perfectly and may well sit in the <a href=\"https:\/\/internal-links-manager.com\/pt\/glossario\/xml-sitemap\/\">Sitemap XML<\/a>, but nothing following links can reach it.<\/p><p>That is the whole criterion: zero inbound internal links. That is exactly what makes it easy to miss \u2014 nothing is broken.<\/li><li><strong>Not a noindexed page.<\/strong> Excluding a page from the index is a decision; orphaning is an accident.<\/li><li><strong>Not saved by the sitemap.<\/strong> A sitemap tells a crawler a URL <em>existe<\/em>. Internal links tell it the URL <em>importa<\/em>, and roughly how much.<\/li><\/ul><p>One near-miss is worth naming: a page reachable only through page seven of a paginated archive is technically linked, but from a page that itself sits deep and carries almost nothing. Practitioners call these <em>quase-\u00f3rf\u00e3os<\/em> and treat them the same way.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-t1100014 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"t1100014\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Como as p\u00e1ginas acabam por ficar \u00f3rf\u00e3s<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-t1100015 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"t1100015\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nobody creates one on purpose. They accumulate through ordinary maintenance: a post drops off the blog listing, a campaign ends but its landing page stays live, a menu item is removed to simplify the header, content is migrated without the links between it, a category is restructured and its children are cut loose.<\/p><p>The common thread is that the page was linked once and the <a href=\"https:\/\/internal-links-manager.com\/pt\/o-que-fazer-com-o-linkbuilding\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"146\" title=\"Links internos vs. backlinks\">liga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a> disappeared through a change nobody connected to it. Every simplification of a navigation buries something.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-t1100016 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"t1100016\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Finding them<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-t1100017 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"t1100017\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The method is a subtraction: everything that exists, minus everything a crawler reaches by following links. What remains is orphaned.<\/p><p>Crawl from the homepage with Screaming Frog or Sitebulb, feed the sitemap in as a second source, and both tools flag the difference directly \u2014 in Screaming Frog under <em>Crawl Analysis<\/em> as <em>URLs \u00f3rf\u00e3s<\/em>. Search Console alone will not answer it: its Links report shows the most-linked targets, not the unlinked ones, and absence from a top list is not proof of absence.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-41889de ilm-article elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"41889de\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-no\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-a7134bd\" data-id=\"a7134bd\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cea86f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cea86f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What it costs<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-86bc49b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"86bc49b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Three separate costs, and the third is the one that stings.<\/p><p><strong>Rastejamento.<\/strong> Pages nothing links to are visited rarely, so changes to them are noticed late.<\/p><p><strong>Autoridade.<\/strong> Whatever standing the domain has flows along internal links. A page receiving none inherits none and competes on its own from a standing start.<\/p><p><strong>O trabalho j\u00e1 pago.<\/strong> Somebody researched, wrote and edited that page. It is still good. It simply cannot be found through the mechanism most of the site relies on. Orphans are usually the cheapest traffic available precisely because the expensive part is already done.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8b3ccdd elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8b3ccdd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Ligar, fundir ou remover<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-267d3c4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"267d3c4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Do not link everything back reflexively. Each orphan gets one of three verdicts, and one question decides it: <strong>Publicaria esta p\u00e1gina hoje?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Faz a liga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong> \u2014 if yes. Find two or three pages whose subject genuinely leads there and link from inside the text, not from a footer list.<\/li><li><strong>Fundir<\/strong> \u2014 if the answer is \u201cnot on its own, but the content is worth keeping\u201d. Fold it into a stronger page on the same topic and redirect the old URL there.<\/li><li><strong>Remover<\/strong> \u2014 if no. Delete it and let it return 410, or redirect it if it has inbound links or lingering traffic.<\/li><\/ul><p>Work through them by traffic, highest first. An orphan with impressions is already ranking with one hand tied.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-060b3b8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"060b3b8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Not producing new ones<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f96b8b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f96b8b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Finding orphans is a cleanup. Not creating them is a habit, and it comes down to three things.<\/p><p><strong>Liga\u00e7\u00e3o na publica\u00e7\u00e3o, n\u00e3o mais tarde.<\/strong> Quando uma p\u00e1gina for publicada, decida ali mesmo quais duas ou tr\u00eas p\u00e1ginas existentes devem apontar para ela \u2014 e edite-as. \u201cVou adicionar links mais tarde\u201d \u00e9 a forma como o *backlog* come\u00e7a.<\/p><p><strong>Tratar as altera\u00e7\u00f5es estruturais como altera\u00e7\u00f5es de links.<\/strong> Removing a menu item, retiring a category, unpublishing a hub: each one cuts links.
